Taijiwuxigong - A Day of Healing Qigong
TaijiWuxiGong is a sophisticated QiGong system for self-healing, developed by the late Dr. Shen Hongxun from over 50 years of study and research into TaijiQuan and chinese medicine, utilising Taiji principles, Spontaneous Movement, Daoyin Exercises, Sound Vibration and Healing Information Transmission.
What differentiates TaijiQuan from other systems and has made it both popular and famous world wide is its emphasis on the development of internal movement and forces. Historically, TaijiQuan evolved as a Martial Art and these forces were used for fighting: the combat arena was the testing laboratory in which these internal forces were studied, understood, developed and improved.
However, in our stressful modern world most people have more interest in Health than in fighting, so it is both fortunate and appropriate that these same Taiji Forces can also be used for self-healing and indeed, with more extensive training, for healing others.

Taijiwuxigong is suitable for all levels, increasing mobility, improving posture, promoting a better mental and physical balance of concentration and relaxation for beginners, whilst more experienced students can experience strong physical & emotional cleansing.
During classes the teacher assists with posture correction and energy activation, giving direct (Zen/Chan) health information transmission. You will learn how to Activate the Dantian, the core of the internal energy system, and how to Develop Internal Force Movements. You can then use these forces, combined with Mental Concentration, to expel sick, stale, stagnant and Negative Qi from your body, enabling Qi reactions which can instigate swift and profound changes, alleviating many common health problems.
The day will be an entertaining and challenging mixture of stretching, meditation, practical exercises, philosophy, information transmission and spontaneous movement work. It is also enjoyable to practice.
